Staying Local

I've been meaning to post these pictures for quite awhile, I just keep forgetting. Anyways, they are just some pictures from places I've been to around here. Nothing terribly exciting, but still fun!

This is the best ricotta cheesecake Bonnie and I had at an Italian restaurant in Bridgeport.. or maybe it was Trumbull. Yum!

There is a children's museum  in Norwalk, called Stepping Stones with this playground outside of it.  Bonnie and I were really bored one day and we were messing around here and I got some good shots of Bonnie (please don't kill me for posting these).

What's more fun than a tire swing??

Caskey playing a motorcycle video game inside a Harley Davidson store. Yes, I played it too..

These are some pictures of animals from Silverman Farms here in Easton. I took Watermelon there on the day this lamb was born. It was pretty fun, feeding the animals and watching Watermelon try to pet them.

Caskey, Bonnie, and I went to Jersey for the COC and stopped to visit Carlos' Bake Shop from the TLC show, Ace of Cakes, which was amazingly delicious! And we also got to see this poor chap dressed as french fries..

 Best brownie ever!

The eclair was supposed to be mine, but I forgot it and I'm not entirely sure what happened to it.. Sad.

Fa La La La La Spring Is In The Air...

.. And I'm a beautiful flower, with nothing interesting to say. Sorry, but there really hasn't been much going on here. I spend all day taking the girls to their activities and cleaning up after them, and I spend my nights in my room reading or watching a movie. That doesn't give me much to blog about. The weekends have been pretty fun.. for the most part. Bonnie and I need to be better at planning and leaving early, but otherwise we are having fun and buying tons of books! And, also eating way too much! I should really hit the gym one of these days..  Anyway, here is a picture for your viewing pleasure. This was taken just this last weekend at the carousel in Bushnell Park, in Hartford, CT. Let me just say, the carousel ride was the best part of the day. Bonnie and I felt like 6 year olds. It was so much fun. I'll try to make my life more interesting so I have more to say when I blog.

Recent Weekend Travels

Ready for more pictures?? Cause I have some. The last two weekends have been super busy, but so much fun! Last weekend Bonnie and I went to Mark Twain's house in Hartford, which was sublime!! It was so much bigger than I thought it would be. I can't wait to go back and take the haunted tour. There are a lot of haunted tours to take out here.. Including one at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, which I Bonnie and I went to just the other day. We also went into the city by ourselves for the first time. It was great. Not even the rain could bring us down.
This picture is me at Ted's Restaurant in Meriden, CT I don't if any of you have ever seen Hamburger Paradise or Man vs. Food on the Travel channel, but they both went here. They have steamed cheeseburgers. They steam the burger and the cheese, and they are simply amazing. I loved it.
This is a picture of me reading at the New York Public Library. I know its shocking.. But yes, I do read. This has to be one of the biggest libraries I have ever set foot in. The other one being the one at Yale University.
Here I am at the Old Dutch Church in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. I don't know why I did the lame pose. Moving on!
This was just a funny one of Bonnie at the Mark Twain Museum. Obviously. Ok, so anyway, I think that's enough pictures for now. I will be sure to post more when something new or exciting happens. Or possibly even before then.

Finally!

Finally! I have a job. Yay! I'm officially a nanny. It's not something I've always dreamed of being, but I am excited and happy to be here doing this job! I am living with a great family in Easton, CT. For sake of the family's privacy I will be using clever nicknames. The parents are Mr. and Mrs. B and their three girls, Lemony, who is 10, Clementine, who is 8, and Watermelon who is 4. Easton is a very small town, but I like it a lot and I can almost find my way around. I moved in last Sunday and started the following day, but was sick for most of the week. I didn't work the last three days, so I don't have any good stories yet. Fear not. I will post more as soon as I do. I don't know if anyone is interested, but I wanted to post pictures of my bedroom here. So, whether you wanted them or not, here you go!
